Fully Brazed Closed Heat Transfer Components: Analysis of Core Parts for Compact Temperature Control Equipment
Featured by gasket-free, fully closed, high pressure resistance and compact size, compact brazed thermal equipment is widely applied in commercial refrigeration, HVAC heat pumps and precision industrial temperature control. Different from traditional detachable structures, all components are integrally formed by vacuum brazing without rubber sealing parts. The precisely matched parts deliver a more compact structure and superior temperature & pressure resistance, serving as the optimal solution for small and medium-sized high-precision heat transfer working conditions.
Brazed corrugated plates are the core carrier of energy exchange and basic forming components. Made of ultra-thin precision stainless steel sheets through stamping, the plates are formed with dense and uniform heat transfer corrugations. The unique channel structure effectively strengthens fluid turbulence and greatly improves heat exchange efficiency between cold and hot media. All plates are stacked and positioned precisely to ensure consistent channel gaps, avoiding fluid deflection and uneven heat transfer. Integrated brazing bevels on plate edges provide a solid foundation for integral fusion welding, fundamentally eliminating leakage risks of traditional gasket-type structures.
The brazing filler metal layer is the key to integral sealing and forming. Adopting copper-based vacuum brazing technology, the filler metal evenly infiltrates all plate gaps under high-temperature vacuum conditions. After cooling, a continuous, dense and defect-free welded sealing layer is formed, integrating all plates into a rigid whole. The welded layer features high strength and tightness, resisting alternating high and low temperature impact and preventing cross-contamination of two media. Without auxiliary sealing parts, it adapts to closed heat transfer scenarios of refrigerants, hydraulic oil, clean water and other media.
Top and bottom cover plates are thickened stainless steel pressure-protective components fitted on both ends of the plate bundle. They compress and fix the integral plate structure, balance internal fluid pressure to prevent channel deformation, and protect internal corrugated channels from external impact damage. Precisely reserved inlet and outlet holes on cover plates align perfectly with internal channels to ensure smooth fluid flow and enhance overall structural rigidity and deformation resistance.
Inlet and outlet nozzles are seamless precision pipe fittings integrally brazed with cover plates, achieving zero-gap and zero-leakage connections. With standardized specifications for quick pipeline connection, the nozzles deliver excellent temperature and pressure resistance. They adapt to dynamic working conditions such as heat pump temperature cycling, refrigeration phase change and industrial circulating water, with no cracking or leakage during long-term operation.
Positioning and limiting components are auxiliary parts ensuring forming accuracy. The integrated positioning structure fixes each plate firmly during high-temperature brazing, preventing high-temperature deformation and plate displacement, and ensuring regular channels and symmetrical structure. Fully integrated inside the equipment without disassembly requirements, these components occupy no extra space and maintain the equipment’s compact advantages.
Compared with traditional component combinations, the brazed structure completely eliminates aging and corrosion-prone rubber gaskets and realizes permanent sealing through metal fusion welding. With simplified components, low failure rate, higher temperature and pressure resistance, small footprint and easy installation, it integrates high-efficiency heat transfer and maintenance-free performance, becoming a preferred choice for small and medium-sized precision temperature control systems.
